We are pleased to show off some of our flooring that was two years in the making.

Many products used in making this project a success included:

Carpets by; Milliken, Interface, Bentley Prince Street & Mannington.

Resilient flooring by; Amtico & Mannington’s Realities, Fine Fields and Realities vinyl planks & Johnsonite Millwork vinyl base.

Ceramic tile by; Shaw, Daltile & Sark Tile.

As you can see by the pictures the space was to be like a small-town Main Street. All the flooring was designed to fit with that theme.

One of the pictures below shows the custom “Rose” carpet tile by Milliken. It was designed to pay respect to Rose Blumkin and her service to the Omaha Jewish Community. It was a leading design element that the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home committee required.

All carpets were selected for their performance characteristics and suitability for use in an assisted living facility. 90% of the carpets use Antron fibers. The backing systems of the broadlooms were moisture barriers. All carpets have some form of anti-microbial built into them.

The sheet vinyl and vinyl planks had to be durable and low maintenance, yet provide the look the designer required.
This was a design build project with Hawkins Construction. The architectural design was done by Purdy and Slack Architects. The interior design was done by Kimberly Overton of Leo A. Daly. Kimberly worked with a design committee from the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home and Floors Inc.
